Fish Fishers' Smoky Mountain Songwriters Winter Weekend in Dec....

The Historic Gatlinburg Inn and Fish Fisher are teaming up to welcome songwriters from all over to meet up in one of the most beautiful, exciting & relaxing regions of the country to collaborate on new songs, pick together on the front porch by the outdoor fireplace and get to know each other in a casual setting with minimal itinerary.

The Gatlinburg Inn is & has been the hub for songwriters since back in the day when 'Rocky Top' was written in room 388. Fish is just infamously there too much so it only made sense to put him to use in some way (hopefully).

We believe songwriters need to gather together every now & then to make new songs, encourage each others craft & to have some fun sharing creativity toge...ther. This is nothing too formal. It's just some casual group co-write sessions, playing music together & having fun. Also there will be song critiques by hit songwriter John Condrone as well as performances by Fish & other local songwirters at nearby venues in walking distance.

Special rates are available at the Inn. Standard rooms are normally $119 but mention the songwriter weekend or that your with Fish and get $30 off per night at $89.99 or if you live nearby just meet us on the porch or in the fireplace room each day.

If you're a non-songwriter but just enjoy watching how songs are made this a great weekend for you to visit too. Meet the songwriters and hang out with us on the porch as we do our thing. It's a tradition at the Inn!

To book your room call Historic Gatllinburg Inn 865-436-5133 or call Fish's cell phone for more info 419-787-1132

'Rust & Coal' CD release Pases 1 thru 3 in three cities....

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: It's official; I will be releasing my newest Fish Fisher CD 'Rust & Coal' in 3 phases in 3 of my favorite cities like this:

1. The celebration begins on Dec 3rd at Commodore Grille Nashville as I host a round right after one of my favorite bands Dark Waters .
2. Then continues at my second-home city of Gatlinburg at the Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival songwriter showcase at my other spot Crystelle Creek Restaurant & Grill and
3. Finally in my hometown... of Toledo Ohio after the holidays are done on Jan 14th at The Ottawa Tavern downtown from 6-10 with free parking, low-dough $3 show, all ages food by my infamous buddy Nacho Daddy's Food Truck . (if you are a local co-writer or performer and wanna sit in for a song or two let me know, I'm gonna have some short-set guest spots for sure)

'Rust & Coal' is an all acoustic (no electrics, effects or machines but all wood and wire) Folk & Country album. It may be Folk music but make no mistake; It is a rip-roaring troublemaking album filled mostly with storytellers songs, prison anthems, whiskey & women tunes, bar-fight inspiring fist-pumpers and...a couple heartfelt heartbreakers & tear-tuggers. You will love it and play it again & again. I promise!

I'm excited for all this. Special thanks to Innovation Concerts for always working with me on weird brainstorms and stuff.
